Personalised Nursing Services and Support Services tailored to meet the needs of individuals under the NDIS.

Hello, I’m Liz – Founder of Cato Care, Registered Nurse, and a passionate advocate for high-quality, person-centred disability and in-home nursing services.
After nearly a decade of experience as a Registered Nurse across residential aged care, hospital medical wards, and emergency departments, I recognized a growing need for more individualized, participant-focused care — particularly for people living with disability who want to remain safe, supported, and independent in their own homes.
Through my clinical experience, I saw how preventable hospital admissions and health deterioration often occur when people do not receive consistent, tailored support services. That’s why I created Cato Care — to deliver professional nursing services and disability supports directly in the home, aligned with the principles of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Cato Care supports NDIS participants with Core Supports, High Intensity Support needs, and Behaviour Support services (pending registration approval). Our approach is built on dignity, respect, clinical excellence, and empowering participants to live the life they choose.
We believe quality care should never be one-size-fits-all. Every participant deserves supports that reflect their individual goals, cultural background, preferences, and aspirations.
At Cato Care, our team is dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality NDIS supports and nursing services. We take the time to understand each participant’s unique needs, goals, and support requirements. Whether we are assisting with daily personal activities, medication management, community participation, or complex health supports, our focus is always on promoting independence, choice, and control through our support services.
Our nurses and support professionals are experienced, trained, and committed to best practice standards under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Framework.
We prioritize:
- Person-centred support planning
- Clinical safety and risk management
- Respectful and culturally sensitive care
- Collaboration with families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals
- Ongoing professional development and compliance
Our mission is to deliver exceptional disability and nursing care that enhances quality of life, supports participant goals, and reduces unnecessary hospitalisation wherever possible. Because staying independent shouldn’t mean doing it alone.
Cato Care is now a registered NDIS provider.
We have successfully completed the full NDIS registration process, including the independent certification audit and final approval by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
This achievement reflects our strong commitment to compliance, robust quality systems, participant safety, and continuous improvement across our Nursing and Support Services.
As a registered provider, Cato Care is now able to deliver supports to a broader range of participants, including those with standard and high-intensity support needs.
We look forward to continuing to provide safe, high-quality, and person-centred supports to the community.
